LastDayHere is a story about five individuals who love to create music. The band steps out of the stereotype perspective of modern rock. Well based instrumental parts are spiced up with amazing vocals, and can easily be enjoyed by even the most pretentious listener. Their music is outstanding, authentic and can especially be distinguished by its vocal parts, which is also true for their live performances.
"I listen to a lot of music somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 bands per week, but every once in a while a band jumps out at me and screams for attention. Out of the depths of Celje, Slovenia comes such a band known as LastDayHere." (Twisted Hillbilly Magazine, USA)
LastDayHere redefines modern rock and metal genre. Mixing modern influences with the sounds these genres produced over the last 40 years and adding incredible energy to the mix, giving LastDayHere their unique and accessible sound. The band's crew consists of people who have the same vision of how the LastDayHere sound should be. With the album "From Pieces Created" they wanted to show that they mean business. It has it all - melodic parts, hard riffs, and breakdowns that a modern listener wants to hear. Great music is spiced up with energetic vocals that turn from distinguished growl to clean singing.
The first release of LastDayHere's album "From Pieces Created" penetrated right into the heart of Europe, getting LastDayHere to play with some of the big names and in the some of the best venues. A video was shot for the track "Saved From Falling", part 1 in LastDayHere video trilogy, an unique story full of emotions and pain, followed by the 2nd piece of this story – the video for the track "Hide", the darkest places a soul can reach trying to find a way to the light. 3rd and last part of LastDayHere video trilogy was released in february 2011.
A second edition of "From Pieces Created" was released trough Graviton Music Services in late 2009 and distributed in the Benelux area (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg) in September 2010. Other countries following in the next months.
Besides the heavy nature, the record has a sentimental and gentle touch. The clarity and the depth of the music and the lyrics makes LastDayHere unique. Thise entire album is telling a personal and intimate story in ways it could otherwise not be told.
"Seeing the amount of discs most labels are trying to sell us as the "revelation of the year," it is hard to believe that they do not kill each other to sign this group." (Music in Belgium, Belgium)The band formed in 2005, had some changes in the band line-up and was fully formed in 2007. Uros, Marko, Jure, Tomi and Mohor started to approach deep subjects with the strong intensity and an ability to pour soul and emotions into their music. By recording their creations in the studio, the band brought their music to the next level and presented themselves to a wider audience.
"The foundation are beautiful, powerful, emotional melodies that invite you to relax and linger, while one is taken back again by juicy grooving riffs. Particularly good examples of this explosive mix are the catchy opener 'Burned Inside' (Hammer Chorus!) and the immersive 'Coming Alive'. "Indeed LASTDAYHERE shows an astonishing maturity in terms of their compositions and the press kit does not lie when it states that "From Pieces Created" can easily match the American standards for this genre." (Powermetal.de, Germany)"From Pieces Created" is a 10-track, non-stop groove and power album. It catches the attention, crawls into the mind and craves for more. Suddenly one is caught listening LastDayHere at home, in the office and singing along loudly while playing it in the car.

"Uniqueness is something that is often lost in the music industry. Bands try to put their own "stamp" on the music they create, even if what they're doing has been done a thousand times before. The treat is when a band comes along and does something, that, though they bear similarities to what's come before them, they put enough of their own "stamp" on the formula or genre to say they're doing something new or unique. We have this treat when listening to LastDayHere. LastDayHere has something that makes them stand out above the rest. They combine all the right elements with such balance and style that makes you wonder just where they've come from. LastDayHere are incredibly tight, they have a fresh, adrenaline pumping sound of sheer quality and listenability of Rock Metal." (One2One ProMedia, USA)Each and every song has its own charisma and when the record stops one might consider turning the "repeat" function on.

"There was not one song on this CD I did not like and I can tell you honestly that this band will be around for a long time. You owe it to yourself to pick this one up and give it a long listen or two!" (Twisted Hillbilly Magazine, USA)For LastDayHere every gig is as important as if it was the last, which is in accordance to the band's name based on the saying "live every day as if it was your last". All that we have is this moment and it has to be seized to the maximum. The result is a convincing and powerful live performance every time they hit the stage.
"If these guys keep this up they are headed for the same place as Metallica, Nickelback, and AC/DC!" (Melted Metal Radio, USA)
